Our Admission Requirements
The Entrance Examination is open to all boys who have completed or about to complete their basic six (6) education in July and are aspiring to join the College in the new academic session beginning September every year.
Age Limit
The candidate must not be less than ten (10) years old or more than twelve (12) years old as at the proposed date of resumption for the new academic session.
How To Apply
The entrance examination form is sold at N10,000, and obtainable at St. Finbarr’s College or any nursery and primary school in the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos.
Application can be made via Examcentre.ng.
The entrance examination takes place in the College on Saturday, Date and time will be made known as soon as possible
Result Checking
The results of the entrance examination will be released within five days after the examination.
Subsequently, interviews will be conducted, and admission letters will be issued to successful candidates.
Parents can access their ward’s results either at the school or through the online portal.
The Letter of Admission
The Letter of Admission will be accompanied with the bill, part of which will be a non-refundable deposit to be paid before a specified day. Also included in the Letter is a schedule for the pre-resumption activities such as measurement for uniforms, opening of files, medical tests, orientation programme and date for collection of uniforms and books.
