Administrator’s Message
It is with great deal of enthusiasm that the entire management, staff and students welcome you to St. Finbarr’s College Akoka. A Catholic school owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, founded in 1956 by Late Rev. Fr Dennis Slattery, an Irish Missionary Priest to educate and train the young ones in basic and technical education.
The College offers a comprehensive Catholic education and an all-embracing curriculum for academic excellence and total development of its students. Each new school year brings joy, excitement and anticipation for the many great opportunities our children will experience and this 2021/2022 session will be no exception.

The academic successes of our students with the support of our teachers and parents have continued to put the school on a path towards greatness with making the news as one of the best schools in the city.
